Spiritual Garden
A Self Empowerment Series
“when the well is dry”
This 10-part series is taught by Bernice Gero and Del Bachand
Earth – Air – Fire – Water
For physical gardens to flourish and grow they need each of the elements – so too does a spiritual garden. Learn how to bring the energy from the elements into everyday life through mindfulness / meditation as you plant your garden and refill your well.
Bleeding Heart
Guilt is the Ego’s way of trying to control and define your spiritual growth. What is guilt? Why is its hold so intense? Where does it manifest? Together let’s explore a way to set yourself free and live the life you are meant to live.
Forget-Me-Nots
Letting go of the secrets we keep is oftentimes one of life’s most challenging burdens. Just like the forget-me-nots which need to have the spent flowers removed in order to encourage continued blooming – we need to release the experiences that no longer serve us in order to continue to grow. Do you want to begin to understand how to step toward emotional freedom? Do you want to learn how to begin? Join us as we begin this journey of letting go.
Lavender
Releasing Anger…sounds simple, right? If only it were so. Anger can run deep and often the root is not as we believe it to be. Just as Lavender has deep roots and thrives in the full sun, so too will you thrive when you bring light to your anger. Join us in understanding the root of anger and the next steps in releasing its grip.
Thistle
Embracing Fear … What is Fear…no really, what IS it? Is it the result of an experience? Something that has gripped us yet we don’t understand why? How can we release it’s grip? Are you ready for change? Learn to be like the Thistle which is covered in thorns for protection yet it represents resilience, courage, strength and bravery – exactly what is needed to face fear. Let’s explore what fear really is and the meaning behind it
Dahlia
EUA! EUA? What? Ahhh…once we have a better understanding of our life’s experiences we can begin to instill the changes we desire. How do we move forward? Dahlias which bloom all season long represent change. Join us in a simple but powerful technique that can lay the groundwork for evaluating alternatives in choosing our best path.
Let It Bee
If you “pollinate” negativity it spreads. Just as the bee pollinates the garden and produces the sweet nectar of honey, you can “pollinate” positivity. Join us to learn how to change the way you look at everyday challenges and see them as opportunities to grow your spiritual garden.
Sage
In Native culture sage is used to clear one’s personal energy or space. According to the Merriam-Webster dictionary the meaning of Sage is Having or showing deep understanding and intelligent application of knowledge. Both wisdom and clearing are needed to build our self-esteem. Let’s begin to understand ourselves and our connection to our own Spiritual Garden by delving in to these questions: Who are we? How do we fit in? How do we feel about ourselves? How do others feel about us? Should it matter?
Cosmos
How can we create harmony in our own garden? What is the secret to our own internal growth? Are we planting seeds which will bloom year after year? And, once planted, are we able to nurture them? Cosmos, which come in all sizes and colors to provide balance in a garden, attract birds, bees and butterflies which live in harmony with each other. Let’s explore and encourage our own growth.
Tending our Spiritual Garden
Just as a physical garden requires tending so too does our spiritual garden. Learn about the different tools you can use to keep yourself on track for insight, growth, and guidance. Together, let’s learn how to take the first steps into developing a relationship with yourself by using your own oracle deck.
